Etravel Solutions with Abacus has completed a GDS promotion for high-star independent hotels in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. This promotion ran from March 15 to June 31. During these three and a half months, Etravel carefully selected 20 high-star independent hotels in 20 gateway cities of China, adopting a marketing strategy to help these hotels improve their competitive advantage in the Asia/Pacific market. Compared with chain hotels, Chinese independent hotels find it difficult to compete with them in 'Brand effect' and marketing, especially in the international market. Just as Etravel’s president, Ms. Vivien Lin said: "Etravel is always devoted to improving Chinese independent hotel’s competitiveness in the international market. We hope to help them give a better presentation of themselves and gain more room revenues by providing a series of marketing services."
With the help of Abacus’ good market influence and mature marketing strategy, this promotion managed to improve independent hotels’ competitive advantage. Ms. Vivien Lin also said that more promotion activities will be held in the near future to help the hotels they represented gain more top clients in the international market.
Meanwhile, an associated promotion helped to set up a better relationship with travel agencies and TMC. So this is meaningful to provide better service in commission payment and booking services, etc. This promotion successfully realized 100% commission payment, which set up a good example for creating an “all-win” situation and confidence among travel agencies, TMC, hotels and representation companies
